History

ExpertRECALL™, a global leader in product recalls, is a service of Stericycle. Founded in 1989, Stericycle provides medical waste services, re-usable sharps container management services, and safety and compliance training through the Steri-Safe OSHA Compliance program.

ExpertRECALL evolved in 2003, when Stericycle entered the reverse logistics industry. By acquiring NNC Group, the company added valuable recall infrastructure to build out its service offerings.

Today, ExpertRECALL offers the most robust complement of solutions for pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer goods, juvenile product and food and beverage recalls. Since its inception, ExpertRECALL has managed more than 2,000 recalls, including the largest pharmaceutical withdrawal in U.S. history, to much smaller consumer product and medical device recalls. ExpertRECALL also offers retrieval services that help both manufacturers and retailers to stay in compliance.

Headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, ExpertRECALL maintains a large processing and storage space, a scalable call center, a document center and a data repository to seamlessly handle client recall needs efficiently and effectively.
